Life can be hard, but we can still strive in it. Know that "Allah loves the steadfast" (3:146) and "Indeed, Allah loves those who rely [upon Him]" (3:159) and "Indeed, Allah loves the righteous [who fear Him]" (9:4) so increase your tawakal and have patience, in'sha'Allah!
