The contrary

The contrary
The contrary

I
You are nothing.
With your impecunious attitude
Your haughtiness and look of disdain upon the poor
You erred and sinned
You live with disrelish

II
You are everything.
Your generosity is undoubtedly boundless.
You are courteous, suave to the unfortunate.
You are ubiquitously beloved
You disburdened others.

I dont know what should I label this post.
It's not that valuably poetic to be called as a poem though

Tears on the praying mat

Monday, February 18, 2013 0
Tears on the praying mat

Tears on the praying mat

From the dusty windows,
My two brown orbs took a glance at the sun above.
Playing hide and seek with the clouds,
However,
As I noticed,
Its brightness has become dull,
Its radiant has faded,
The sun is not shining brightly anymore.

The scorching weather turns stormy.
The storm is too strong for my weak body to handle.
My hands are tottery and my legs are wobbly.
The storm is too rough,
The cool air is threatening me,
I kneel down on the praying mat,
Feeling hopeless and gloomy.
Tears burst out like a waterfall,
My heart was scattered into pieces again.

It was broken once.
Took me years to mend it back
I manage to put every pieces back together
Though the cracks are still visible
But now it breaks again,
I am no longer capable to repair this broken heart.

O Allah.
O Allah.
I trust no one other than You, the Almighty.
I believe You will never give burden that I cant handle
I have faith in You though I dont have faith in anyone else.

I dont deserve Your Paradise
But I'm too frail for Your Hellfire.
Please accept me again.
Please forgive me again.

My prideful self learnt the lesson.
Help me out from this storm.
Show me the way out from this misery

What is life without love?
Without love, all of my perspective of life gone
In a blink.
And without You, I dont know what LOVE is.

Just beyond The Sunset

Just beyond The Sunset

As I grew up, I realized I got lots of weird interest on something that I dont think I treasure it when I was younger. I start to think penguins are cute..I start to think sunset are ultimately beautiful *subhanallah*, I start to think all things are beautiful and pretty..I start to like kids and babies... I don't care about such things when I was younger yet I think in the opposite way now..I guess, that's not a bad thing :P

Here, just wanna share a poem about sunset. *I found it when I searched for poems related to sunset on the web*

Just beyond the sunset

By : David Harris

Just beyond the sunset
Someone waits for me
Just beyond the sunset
Lies my destiny
Where the purple mountains
Lie in deep tranquillity
There I’ll find the treasure
Of love eternally

Just beyond the sunset
Waits someone so fair
Just beyond the sunset
All alone they wait there
Their hair is golden
The colour of the sand
Their eyes sparkle in the night
Like diamonds in your hand

Just beyond the sunset
Lies a home for me
Where the world is peaceful
Like a paradise should be
Just beyond the sunset
Someday is where you’ll find me

I found a nice poem regarding hijab..Just wanna share it here ^^

Please see me for who I am...

Hijab

Open your eyes

Open your mind

Open your heart

See me for who I am

Stop gawking at my modesty

Stop staring at my clothes

Stop criticising my way of life

Believe me…

I’m happy with what I’ve chosen

Open your eyes

Open your mind

Open your heart

See me for who I am

Listen to me, hear how I speak

My lowered voice, my respectful tone

Hear my honest words ring true

Please listen…

Hear me speak the truth

Open your eyes

Open your mind

Open your heart

See me for who I am

Watching me as I walk down the street

See my lowered gaze

See my self-respect, my virtues

Please see…

My confidence in life grow

Open your eyes

Open your mind

Open your heart

See me for who I am

Can’t you see my innocence?

My simple want to live in peace

Can’t you see I don’t want a fight?

Please believe me…

When I say: “I’m happy!”

Open your eyes

Open your mind

Open your heart

See me for who I am

Please all who are listening

To this poem from the heart

Stop this foolish charade

I’m begging you…

Please see us for who we are

Open your eyes

Open your mind

Open your heart

See me for who I am

A little girl, a grown woman

The elderly lady down the street

We are all happy with our life choices

So please…

Leave us in peace

Mister One In A Million

Tuesday, February 14, 2012 0
Mister One In A Million

Fantasies during days and nights get over ridden
For the reason being these lusted thoughts are forbidden
To leave her sensational touch for only one hidden
Her dreams of love are so deeply driven

She prays to Allah(swt) for her sins to be forgiven
Against silent stars her wishes remain striven
Unscripted love stories for her desires listen
Entries of what she's longing page to page is written
From a journal composing she yearns Mister One In A Million

Her love she wrapped in a box and tied with a ribbon
For the one man who will be the father of her children
To raise them together on the Islamic path given
To teach Qur'an! The words glisten!
A life with the most beautiful vision
So where's Mister One in A Million?

She's staying away from all guys dreadful with sin
She got a devotion to search far underneath the skin
Everyone knows real beauty lies within
For a sparkle at heart is where true love may begin

Awaiting for the puzzle piece to her empty space fill in
But her shell is so hard! There's no way she'll let anyone in!
Hopefully he's strong enough to build himself in
After all this job is for Mister One In A Million

Aspiring memories to last forever, never to become a has been
The last thing she needs is pictures in that trash bin
Anticipating the key to start up her engine
Mister One In A Million is going to drive her to Heaven
To Allah(swt) is their final destination

Searching for my own soul

Friday, February 03, 2012 0
Searching for my own soul

I've been down this road walking the line

That's carved by pride

And I have made mistakes and sins in my life

That I just can't hide

And I just can't run from it

It keep chasing me and haunting

Without mercy.

I lost myself in this world

World of lies and mystery

I will search for it again.

And will never lose it

When I get it in my arms.

Syair Arab

Syair Arab

Wahai zaman
jika masih tersisa kemuliaan padamu
padahal kemuliaanmu terus berkurang
maka berikanlah kemuliaan itu.

Al Mutanabbi mengatakan :
Masa telah melemparkanku pada malapetaka
hingga hatiku terasa bagai tertikam anak panah.
Hancur lebur hatiku hingga berkeping-keping
saat anak panah itu menghujam ke dadaku.
Tidak pernah kuingat lagi bencana itu
kerana bagiku semua itu tidak bermanfaat.

p/s: waktu sedang melayan kesedihan hati tadi, aku ternampak buku 'Jangan Bersedih'...aku selak helaian demi helaian dan terjumpa syair di atas tu....

Sonnets are full of love

Sonnets are full of love
***

I dedicate this poem to my beloved mum.

Sonnets are full of love

Sonnets are full of love, and this my tome

Has many sonnets:so here now shall be

One sonnet more,a love sonnet, from me

To her whose heart is my heart's quiet home

To my first Love,my mother,on whose knee

I learnt love-lore that is not troublesome;

Whose service is my special dignity,

And she my loadstar while I go and come

And so because you love me,and because

I love you,Mother,I have woven a wreath

Of rythmes wherewith to crown your honored name:

In you not fourscore years can dim the flame

Of love, whose blessed glow transcends the laws

Of time and change and mortal life and death.

written by: Christine Rossetti (1842)

Your Lord has commanded that you worship none but Him, and be kind to parents. If either or both of them reach old age with you, do not rebuke them, but speak to them in terms of honor and kindness. Treat them with humility, and say, 'My Lord! Have mercy on them, for they did care for me when I was little'. [17:23-4].

Am I coloured?

Am I coloured?

when I born, I black
when I grow up, I black
when I go in Sun, I black
when I scared, I black
when I sick, I black
and when I die, I still black

and you white fellow
when you born,you pink
when you grow up, you white
when you go in Sun, you red
when you cold,you blue
when you scared, you yellow
when you sick, you green
and when you die, you grey

And you calling me coloured??
